Power Dealer of Excellence Program maintains high objective standards that limit the number of automotive dealerships that can even qualify for the recognition to the top 20% of all dealers nationwide.  The J.D. Power Dealer of Excellence Program uses feedback from more than 25,000 customers to identify eligible dealerships by brand and select only those that rank among their brand’s top performers in customer satisfaction that is consistent with measurements found in J.D. Power’s Sales Satisfaction Index (SSI) Study.  The potential candidates are then selected for an in-dealership audit performed by J.D. Power associates to qualify only those dealerships that meet or exceed new-and-used-vehicle sales best practices.
